Life is a trip, that's for sure. If you read my blog regularly, I mentioned that a client recently hired me for a project photographing flowers, which was exciting because I've never done something like that. But you didn't know that I wrote and directed a short film titled Artificial Roses before being commissioned for that project. Coincidence? That's pretty wild!
Check out my awesome movie poster for the film. Isn't that fire!!

I'm making some fine art prints of the artwork and will have a giveaway for all you incredible people that rock with me, so make sure you're on my mailing list to be entered to win one of three of the art prints. I'll ship anywhere out of state/in the state, or if you're close, we can set a time for you to swing by the studio and pick it up. Good luck!
Flower Portraits
So what did I learn from my first flowers film photography project? I photograph flowers with the same approach I do with people, seeing their individual qualities and organically building a pose with emotions through composition and lighting. Photographing women and flowers are one and the same. Both are beautiful, and everyone is different with something special only they can express to the world! I'm excited to keep exploring, though, and have been trying to find exotic flowers for new ideas I want to try out and integrate with some regular photoshoots. If anyone knows where you can find exotic flowers, let me know; if not, I'll probably take a trip somewhere to source what I need.

How fitting is this song, "The Flower Of Carnage." It hits deep 💪 Beautiful lyrics with well crafted analog production from the 70s. If you know this artist or what movie this was featured in, we need to hang out, lol.
Have a great week. Stay focused, stay inspired!
